CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!
Opens and administers fiduciary accounts, including Representative Payee accounts, Uniform Transfer to Minor accounts (UTMAs), Guardian accounts, and Formal Trust accounts. Receives, reviews, and approves Power of Attorney (POA) paperwork. Reviews and processes subpoenas, tax levies, and third-party citations to discover assets and non-wage garnishments as needed.Provides the highest quality member experience, for both internal and external members.
Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m.Required: • High school diploma or equivalent. • 2-4 years of experience in servicing financial institution accounts • Proficiency in applicable software (Excel, Outlook, and Word). • Excellent verbal/written communication skills (handling upset members, communicating with attorney, etc.). • Time management and organizational skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong knowledge of CEFCU Mainframe application (CTI, MIF/AIF), online document storage (OnBase), and statement and check archive (VSoft). • Understanding of CEFCU By-Laws and Deposit Account Agreement. • Knowledge of CEFCU policies, procedures, products and services. • Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of federal and state regulations governing fiduciary accounts, and proven awareness of red flags of suspicious activity and Elder Financial Exploitation. • Proven judgment and decision-making ability. • Well-organized, efficient, detail-oriented, able to work to work independently. • Effective interpersonal skills. • Ability/willingness to actively participate in helping achieve office/department objectives. Preferred: • Business Law and Business Communication courses. • Experience/courses in legal language comprehension. • Understanding of CEFCU Online journaling system.
Summary Pay Range
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $18.56 - $21.81.The pay range listed represents the anticipated starting range for a successful candidate. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
