CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!

Manages the operational activities for insurance services to meet members’ specialized needs. Collaborates with CEFCU departments to train, educate and advance CFS product awareness. Manages vendor relationships and those relationships to resolve any member, CFS, or CEFCU concerns.
Makes recommendations and builds a business case for new lines of business for CFS. Develops strategies to achieve sales and revenue growth while managing expenses. Manages compliance standards and requirements. Presents at the quarterly CFS Board meeting the quarterly Balance Scorecard results and other CFS results. Prepares the annual CFS budget and establishes/maintains CFS Balanced Scorecard. Leads/partners on assigned CFS projects and process improvements.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. -5:00 p.m.

Required:

• Associate's Degree or 64 hours towards a Bachelor's Degree or two years' management experience in financial services/insurance field or enrollment/completion of CEFCU's Management Development Program.

• 2-4 years sales experience.

• 2-4 years project/forecasting experience.

• The ability to leverage technology to improve the member experience and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of CFS and CEFCU staff.

• Excellent interpersonal skills including active listening with the ability & experience to train CEFCU teams and communicate the value that CFS products provide members.

• The ability to work and manage CFS and CEFCU vendors and challenge those vendors when necessary to resolve member issues and/or identified CFS issues/challenges in relation to that vendor.

• Ability to build collaborative relationships throughout the credit union to foster a holistic view of how to improve the financial well-being of our members.

• Ability to evaluate, interpret, and analyze information that impact member service and potentially impact goals, results, and other business metrics.

• Proficient in use of Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to complete analysis, reports, presentations, etc.

• Obtain Life/Health and Property/Casualty Insurance Producers licenses within 12 months of hire.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, or related field of study preferred.

• Project management and project implementation experience.

• Experience utilizing a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).

• Experience in a sales production and management role.

Summary Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $76,232.00 - $89,599.00.

Compensation offered may vary based on skills and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
