CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!

The Centralized Financial Advisor (CFA) is responsible for providing phone-based services where the representative is expected to take several inbound service calls daily to solve for financial needs. Key responsibilities include deepening relationships by referring clients to specialized sales teams and serving as a central entry point. Job expectations include managing products, trading in self-directed accounts, and maintaining knowledge on a wide variety of products. A CFA generates revenue for CEFCU Investment Services by fulfilling members’ financial needs through, executing member-initiated trades, recommendations and sales of appropriate insurance, investment products, and cross-sales to CEFCU. Becomes proficient in brokerage functions, provides support to Advisors, and backs up Sales Assistants based on business needs.

Provides the highest quality member experience, for both internal and external members.

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Required:

  • Maintains Life/Health Producers license and FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 or Series 7, 63, and 65 or Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses and be able to complete continuing education/testing requirements as needed to maintain professional licenses.
  • Must possess a current, valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and personal vehicle insurance.
  • Must be fingerprinted and pass FINRA’s background checks.
  • Must sign Broker-Dealer’s Registered Representative Agreement is member/client-focused with a passion for service, excellence and a positive team attitude.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and has the ability to multitask in a fast moving, performance-based environment.
  • Effective communicator with an aptitude for sales and relationship management.
  • Strong computer skills. Experience with a CRM, including documenting member engagements, utilizing a pipeline, and assigning and executing tasks.
  • 0-2 years of licensed experience in securities.

Preferred:

  • Associates degree in a business-related field or 2-4 years of licensed experience in securities
  • Sales experience in brokerage and insurance operations including products, terms, suitability, and compliance aspects.
  • Bilingual, Spanish preferred
  • Community involvement through local events and professional organizations

Summary Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $24.06 - $28.26.

Compensation offered may vary based on skills and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
