CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!
CEFCU’s Internship program provides a unique work opportunity for college students. Our competitively paid part-time internship consists of a 11-week program, with a 27-hour work week. The internship begins on Monday, May 12, 2025, and ends on Friday, August 1, 2025.With an internship at CEFCU, you will have the following opportunities:

• Mentorship within internship department
General Responsibilities
• Assist Community Relations with CEFCU’s United Way Campaign; includes
developing a fundraising strategy that is aligned with our corporate social
responsibility goals, establishing relationships with United Way staff and
partner agencies associated with the campaign, helping with tasks
associated with various fundraisers (Casual Days, Chief Officer Lunch, etc.)
• Responsible for event planning and logistics for “special events” including
venue research, timeline, food and beverage recommendations, budget, and
advance communications at all management levels within CEFCU. Works
with multiple external vendors to coordinate all event details. Coordinates
the production of additional communication pieces as needed, such as
event invitations and handouts, for the event.
• Directs participation in off-site fairs/festivals to sell CEFCU services and
increase corporate profitability; provides on-site event support as
necessary. Coordinates volunteer recruitment for many of the Credit
Union’s community events and activities. Ensures interaction and
coordination with organization’s other departments and programs to ensure
the volunteer strategy is in sync with CEFCU’s goals and priorities.
• Represents CEFCU, and its brand, at community events and trade shows
Qualifications
• Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college
• Minimum cumulative GPA – 3.0 or higher
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or
Nonprofit Management.
• Strong initiative, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Skills Needed
• Excellent critical thinking, organizational, time management, and
interpersonal skills, including the ability to build consensus.
• Professional and/or promotional writing skills
• Ability to represent CEFCU in a professional manner.
Summary Pay Range
The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour
Compensation offered may vary based on skills and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
