CEFCU’s Internship program provides a unique work opportunity for college students. Our competitively paid part-time internship consists of a 10-week program, with a 27-hour work week. The internship begins on Monday, March 24, 2025.With an internship at CEFCU, you will have the following opportunities:
• Corporate work experience
• Develop core competencies such as strong communication, time
management, and organizational skills
• Professional development with management feedback
• Mentorship within internship department
General Responsibilities
• Conduct a Quality Assurance Audit of the audit department.
• Assist with Member Center and Confidential Member Information Security
audits.
• Balance department general ledgers and process counterfeit currency.
• Assist in gathering documents for our external auditors and regulators.
• Review and update our Audit Universe.
• Assist with compliance with new IIA Standards for auditors.
• Assist with fraud analysis.
• Update the Internal Audit department page on CEFCU’s intranet, CEFCU Central.
Qualifications
• Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college
• Minimum cumulative GPA – 3.0 or higher
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field
• Strong initiative, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Coursework in Accounting, Internal Audit, Finance and Statistics

Summary Pay Range
The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour
Compensation offered may vary based on skills and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
