CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!

Responsible for managing the organization's databases to ensure the availability, security, and usability of all data. Recommend strategies for master data management, efficient data storage and retrieval, managing data integrity, and complying with the organization's data retention policy. Provide technical support for the database environment including assisting the development and organization of the databases and implementation of new technologies.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30

Required:

• Associate's Degree in Database Administration, Database Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or commensurate work experience in Database Administration.
• Five or more years managing databases for large organizations with a variety of applications and needs.
• Understanding of MySQL, MS SQL, and/or other SQL database engines.
• Understanding of SQL management tools.

• Knowledge of computer networking such as IP addresses and protocols.

• Knowledge of basic Linux commands.
• Understanding of server resources and management.
• Basic understanding of supporting software development throughout the SDLC.
• Basic understanding of scripting and automation.
• Possess the ability and willingness to quickly adjust priorities as business needs shift.
• High level of conceptualization, analytical, logic, technical, problem-solving and reasoning skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills, with an eagerness to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in Database Administration, Database Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or commensurate work experience in Database Administration or commensurate work experience in Database Administration.
• Financial industry background and proven, successful project management experience is beneficial.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion, etc.).
• Knowledge about commonly-used web technologies.
• Industry-recognized certification for database systems.
