CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!

Responsible for creating, maintaining, and securing web and database servers. Responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting applications related to web development. Troubleshoots and solves web server issues related to Linux and Windows operating systems, web applications, and local development environments. Researches technical problems and suggests improvements for web server and department processes. Stays apprised about commonly-used web development languages/techniques. Mentors less-experienced DevOps Engineers in best practices.

WFH
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Potential after-hours based on business needs.

Required:
• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or commensurate work experience in Linux administration or DevOps practices.
• Two years of CEFCU systems administration experience or commensurate work experience.
• Experience in Linux administration and security.
• Experience in commonly used DevOps tools and processes such as configuration management, package management, version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Knowledge of computer networking such as LAN, WAN, IP addresses, subnets, and protocols.
• Knowledge of name servers and DNS records.
• Knowledge of commonly used website development languages and frameworks.
• Industry-recognized Linux administration certification to be determined at time of posting.
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours, during maintenance windows, and provide on-call support outside normal business hours.

Preferred:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and three years of work experience.
• Industry-recognized Linux engineer certification.
• Experience with commonly used DevOps tools.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience maintaining high availability environments such as load balanced and failover web and database server clusters.
• Financial industry background and proven, successful project management experience is beneficial.
