Caterpillar’s Building Construction Product (BCP) division is hiring a Marketing Communications Consultant.

Role Summary:

The BCP division's Marketing Communications Consultant is an expert in developing the strategy and implementation of channel optimization & activation, digital marketing, campaign management, creative development, and public relations.

What You’ll Do (Job Duties)

  • Analyze business objectives and opportunities to develop and align marketing strategies.

  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.

  • Establish metrics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and recommend improvements as needed.

  • Maintain effective internal communication across the marketing team to align strategy with evolving organizational needs.

  • Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

  • Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).

  • Promotion and Marketing Communications: Knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market.

Top Candidates Will Also Have Include

  • 5–8 years of experience leading end‑to‑end marketing campaign management

  • Proven ability to analyze market and performance data and translate insights into compelling messaging and integrated campaign strategies

  • Experience working in or alongside creative and/or PR agencies; background as a campaign manager or portfolio manager strongly preferred

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple campaigns, timelines, and stakeholders

  • Data‑driven marketer with demonstrated success optimizing campaign performance through analytics and insights

Additional Information

  • Relocation and Sponsorship are NOT available for this position.

  • 20% domestic travel to be expected

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
