Job Summary:
Caterpillar’s VisionLink marketing team is hiring a Marketing Communications Consultant to develop promotional strategies, lead initiatives that support the growth of VisionLink, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to execute the VisionLink digital marketing and communications plan.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and highly collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and drive alignment. They demonstrate excellent organizational and prioritization skills, are self-motivated, and possess the confidence to take initiative and make informed decisions.
What You Will Do:
This role has a worldwide impact and is responsible for the following:
- Support business objectives and identify opportunities to develop and align marketing tactics.
- Work with internal partners to develop and execute marketing promotion strategies for VisionLink.
- Develop, implement, and oversee omnichannel strategy and activation.
- Execute the strategy of paid and non-paid advertising across channels.
- Create, lead, and manage marketing campaigns from planning through analysis (e.g., marketing automation).
- Partner with diverse teams across the enterprise, developing and leveraging strong networks across organizational boundaries.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
- Establish metrics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing marketing tactics, suggesting necessary interventions for improvement.
- Maintain effective communication within the marketing department to align marketing strategy with changing business objectives.

- Effective Communications: Working understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Relationship Management: Working knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Vendor/Supplier Management: Working knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
- Promotion and Marketing Communications: Working knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market.

• Proficiency in the Office 365 suite of tools

Additional Details
- Position will be located in either our Peoria, Dallas, Chicago, Denver or Cary, NC office
- Minimal travel required (less than 10% of working time)

Summary Pay Range:
$97,530.00 - $146,290.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
