Job Summary:
Join our commercial connectivity team in Cat Technology! We contribute to our strategic plan for profitable growth and drive digital acceleration under the advanced technology leader pillar by executing connectivity programs to increase the number of Caterpillar connected assets around the globe which enhance Prioritized Service Events (PSE) and Customer Value Agreements (CVA) contributing to services growth.


What You Will Do:

  • Deploy Connectivity Programs by working with Cat Digital and Cat dealers encouraging them to connect high-opportunity assets in their population, regularly review the reporting status, and restore connectivity on assets that are not reporting.
  • Execute the Connectivity Programs by coordinating with key internal partners (Industries, Cat Digital & Cat Technology Core Team) while working with global dealers & customers to deliver overall connectivity program results.
  • Direct and motivate project team including key internal partners (Industries, Cat Digital & Cat Technology Core Team) and dealers to achieve connectivity targets.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of connectivity projects, including overseeing project responsibilities and schedules.
  • Evaluate program engagement, Communicate Voice of Customer, Voice of Dealer and Voice of Business to connectivity program managers.
  • Identify and document best practices to ensure adherence to quality standards and processes. Develop contingency plans for potential risks and monitor project results for significant deviations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, corrective actions, quality assurance processes and routine issue resolution.


What You Will Have:

  • Implementation: Knowledge of how to run commercial incentive programs for organizations
  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, dashboards, and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular geographic region / industry
  • Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects. Monitors progress of work against plan as required to meet objectives.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Typically, 5+ years of experience around dealership operations aligns with this role’s seniority
  • Experience with commercial programs; connectivity incentives desired
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with Caterpillar dealers and internal industry groups
  • Identify areas of opportunities, develop a plan to close the gaps, and execute against business objectives
  • Knowledge of connectivity and telematics (Cat Product Link) is a plus

Additional Details:

  • This position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Mossville, IL office.

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
