Role Definition

Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division is seeking a Rebuild Specialist to support global aftermarket growth through the development and commercial deployment of rebuild offerings. This role focuses on shaping how rebuild solutions are defined, priced, and executed across the dealer network by combining technical knowledge with commercial experience and field engagement.

The Rebuild Specialist works closely with dealers, sales teams, and internal partners to translate service data into practical, dealer‑ready commercial offerings that improve customer value, profitability, and lifecycle performance.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze dealer work orders, rebuild scopes, parts content, and labor structures to identify rebuild cost drivers and commercial opportunities.

  • Support the development and refinement of tiered rebuild and repair offerings aligned to customer needs, dealer capabilities, and lifecycle strategies.

  • Build and maintain rebuilding pricing frameworks and benchmarks to support competitive positioning and consistent market execution.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Parts Pricing, and Product Groups to ensure rebuild offerings are commercially viable and field‑ready.

  • Work directly with Caterpillar dealers to support rebuild strategy deployment, offering adoption, and commercial execution.

  • Participate in dealer workshops and field engagements to champion rebuild frameworks, pricing logic, and value propositions.

  • Translate technical and financial rebuild data into clear insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders and leadership.

  • Support aftermarket new product introductions and repair option launches by ensuring rebuild offerings align with enterprise growth objectives.

  • Incorporate dealer and field feedback to continuously improve rebuild offerings and go‑to‑market approaches.

Top Candidates Will Have

  • Background in dealer service operations, product support, rebuilds, repair options, or aftermarket commercial roles.

  • Understanding of Caterpillar dealer business models and service operations.

  • Experience with analytical tools such as Excel, Lens, ThoughtSpot, or SIS Web.

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and customer‑focused problem solving.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort leading discussions in workshop or field environments.

Additional Information

  • This position supports global dealer engagement and requires periodic travel to dealer locations and regional meeting up to 30%

  • Locations: Dubai, Dallas, Peoria Area (Mossville, Learning Center), Lafyette

  • Relocation assistance will be considered for US locations.

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
