Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.

This role is critical to delivering high-quality parts information to Service Information System (SIS2/SIS2GO) used by dealers and customers to repair and maintenance Cat equipment. As a Parts Information Graphics Specialist, you will oversee 2D and 3D graphics production for New Product Introduction (NPI) and revisions projects, ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule. You will provide direct support to illustrators on all graphics-related matters, including policy decisions, standards, productivity, quality, metrics, training, and the implementation of new technologies

What You Will Do:

• Guide daily activities of global parts information graphics teams, ensuring accuracy in all outputs.

• Serve as the first point of contact for resolving conflicts and addressing operational roadblocks.

• Audit graphics completed by staff and provide targeted coaching to support performance improvement.

• Train and mentor new employees in the processes for creating, validating, and updating parts graphics.

• Establish and uphold technical standards for the creation of parts graphics.

• Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of graphics production.


What You Will Have (Basic Requirements):

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a graphic design, engineering or IT/ technical concentration

Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications/ Top Candidates will also have:

• 5 years of graphics design job-related experience

• Proficient in Canvas and Creo Illustrate graphics software

• Strong knowledge of relevant graphics design technologies and CAD software

• Experience interpreting and understanding engineering documentation and prints in Teamcenter

• Demonstrated leadership and team building, including the ability to independently lead meetings and teams effectively

• Demonstrated skills in project and change management, including the ability to implement and reinforce improvements to business tools and processes

Summary Pay Range:

$89,210.00 - $133,810.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
