We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant supporting the central engineering teams within the Earthmoving Division. This role provides a wide array of financial support to the engineering teams from day to day operations to long term strategic planning. The support frequently requires partnering with other business unit finance teams and teams outside of finance such as human resources, purchasing, IT and legal. The environment is very dynamic and exciting as these engineering teams are developing and testing the next generation of machines and features.

What You Will Do:

  • Support monthly business reporting to engineering vice president and leadership team
  • Lead machine, technology and business studies for strategic decision making
  • Perform SOx and compliance testing for a local engineering facility
  • Conduct analysis on capital and cost initiative projects

What You Have:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Effective Communication: Utilize effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools for financial reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations as well as read, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
