About E&T Procurement
Caterpillar’s E&T Procurement organization plays a critical role in supporting all divisions within Energy and Transportation. Our work is geared towards our pistons of Predictable Supply Excellence, Optimized Total Cost of Ownership, Supplier Relationship Management and Lifecycle Sourcing Strategy. Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Product Procurement Engineer to oversee compliance for the Power & Energy Procurement team. The role involves developing governance programs, managing key compliance initiatives related to supplier performance, purchasing practices, and regulatory activities, and collaborating across teams.
What You Will Do:
Manage and support execution of ProACT Compliance tool to ensure accurate and on time reporting for compliance controls completion
Assist Category team members execute challenges relating to procurement compliance
Use compliance non-conformance events to analyze and determine and address the root cause(s) of compliance failures
Participate in SPPD Steering Committee events to support Procurement Policy updates, input/feedback from Power & Energy, and process improvement initiatives
Ensure all Regulatory and Trade Compliance updates and non-compliances are effectively managed and communicated
Effectively communicate Compliance changes to Power & Energy Procurement through regular reporting, official communications, and/or providing content and support to Procurement Transformation Series mtgs
Execute Compliance Scorecard to track period-over-period performance on key compliance metrics
Support Compliance KPI and associated Dashboards development as needed to ensure least invasive approach to compliance conformance is made available to category team and their support for execution
Support IAAS Enterprise Compliance engagements/audits
Train personnel as needed in Compliance Topics.

Quantifies and evaluates benefits and risks of various supply chain strategies and approaches.
Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
