As the Workflow Strategist and Product Owner at Caterpillar, you serve as a strategic leader driving enterprise-wide transformation beyond traditional product ownership. This role is about architecting the future of Caterpillar’s marketing workflow processes utilizing the Adobe Workfront and Frame.io applications. You will lead the configuration, implementation, and optimization of these platforms to enable scalable, efficient, and collaborative content workflows across all business units.
You own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, but more critically, you shape how these applications integrate with Caterpillar’s broader digital ecosystem. By aligning platform capabilities with business goals, you will ensure measurable impact on user experience, adoption, and operational efficiency. You will partner closely with engineering and business stakeholders to scope and deliver enhancements, validate improvements, and communicate progress to senior leaders.
As a key member of the Digital Marketing Content Product Management Team, you will champion governance standards, drive cross-functional alignment, and lead strategic initiatives that position Workfront as the foundation of Caterpillar’s marketing content operations. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, strategic foresight, and change leadership to unlock value across Caterpillar’s diverse business units.
What You Will Do:
Act as the enterprise business Product Owner for Adobe Workfront and Adobe Frame.io, driving the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, while serving as the primary point of contact for Workfront across multiple teams and departments.
Oversee platform configuration strategy, onboarding, and governance to support Caterpillar’s Content Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Develop and maintain governance standards for Workfront and Frame.io usage across teams.
Serve as the strategic liaison among business stakeholders, engineering teams, and Adobe partners to advocate for enhancements and improved user functionality that align with enterprise standards.
Lead discussions and facilitate solutions to complex questions related to business data and technical integrations, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Present to developers, stakeholders, and leadership team on all Workfront and Frame.io related initiatives through strong communication skills.
Regularly analyze Workfront usage data and feedback to identify inefficiencies or improvement opportunities.
Identify opportunities to integrate Workfront with other enterprise systems and to support new use cases.
Work closely with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications by consulting on scope, layout, and design.
Partner with development teams to track delivery, complete validation, and ensure each release delivers maximum value.
Manage the product backlog by prioritizing enhancements based on changing business needs and desired target dates.
Contribute to change management efforts for application changes including training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Support feature testing by participating in user testing for new Workfront and Frame.io features and functionality, providing feedback to improve performance and usability.
