Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned marketer to serve as an enterprise marketing expert and consultant, driving global marketing programming and strategic planning in support of our brand vision. This role owns the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, ensuring alignment across product groups, and overseeing campaigns that elevate brand awareness and accelerate growth through digital and e-commerce channels.

What You Will Do:

  • Business Integration: Connect marketing initiatives to broader business strategy, ensuring campaigns are aligned with revenue goals, customer acquisition, and long-term growth priorities.

  • Insight-Driven Planning: Translate market research, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into actionable marketing strategies that directly support business objectives.

  • Marketing Communications Strategy: Design and implement a robust communications framework that supports the Go-to-Market strategy, clearly articulates our value proposition, and strengthens our brand positioning for global regions to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide counsel to internal stakeholders and manage external agencies/suppliers to deliver high-quality, on-brand marketing initiatives.

  • Execution Excellence: Oversee marketing programs delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Global Scope: Manage marketing efforts across diverse geographies, adapting strategies to regional needs while maintaining global consistency.

Considerations For Top Candidates:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.

  • Progressive experience in strategic marketing, brand management, or consulting, with a proven track record of leading global initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to connect marketing strategy to measurable business outcomes.

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in market research, customer segmentation, and performance measurement.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional teams in complex organizations.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in B2B marketing strategy and enterprise-level brand positioning.

  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and digital-first marketing approaches.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, drive clarity, and influence at senior levels.

  • Strong digital acumen, including social media, e-commerce, AI, and marketing automation platforms.

Additional Skills:

Must be willing to travel 20-25% when needed

Summary Pay Range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
