Job Summary:
Paid Media Specialists at Caterpillar’s in-house marketing and services agency, Ironworks, are driven, collaborative individuals who get excited about helping our Enterprise clients do their best work. They are the paid media subject matter experts who build strategies and execute the campaigns that drive business results for our clients and agency. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with the media platforms and clients while working alongside Marcom strategists and creative team members to get work done with a data-first mindset focused on measurement and optimization.
Paid Media Specialists are curious and solution-oriented and always think about their client’s business and how Ironworks can support them in achieving their goals. They are equal parts visionary and methodical and live in a world of possibilities while understanding how to develop a scope and plan to get the work done.
What You Will Do:
Develop a deep understanding of the client's business goals, including personas and focus audiences
Support strategic alignment with all media stakeholders to ensure an integrated, strategic approach in aspects of paid media campaigns, including content, messaging, audience, and creative
Create and maintain paid media advertising campaigns across a variety of channels, including Meta platforms, LinkedIn, Reddit, Google, Bing, Twitch, and other platforms
Responsible for campaign management to include, but not limited to, reviewing performance, audience development, and refinement, optimizations, development of insights and recommendations, tracking of the budget and media spending to ensure proper spending and billing
Develop campaign recaps, including generating insights from performance, developing the presentation, and ability to present with SME authority to clients and stakeholders
Serve as a subject matter expert on paid media strategy, execution, and optimization

Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
Promotion and Marketing Communications: Knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market.
Considerations For Top Candidates:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or work experience equivalent
Must have experience managing programmatic advertising campaigns utilizing Google Marketing Platform, Meta Business Manager, and other platform media channels
Experience developing Search Engine Marketing campaigns on Google and Bing
Digital media placement experience with budgets similar to those executed by Ironworks
Broad knowledge of the media landscape, B2B buyer media habits, and forward-thinking approach
Strong written, verbal, and virtual communication skills, including an understanding of navigating across different global regions and cultures
Commitment to be hands-on in all aspects of the role, balance strategic thinking with methodical execution

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
