Performs analysis to identify and develop business improvement opportunities with increasing scope and complexity to evaluate return on investment (ROI) of the opportunity.
What You Will Do:
• Identifying, defining, leading implementation of integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements, including building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities.
• Establishing and strengthening effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal functions.
• Investigating and incorporating industry benchmarks, metrics and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and/or product sets.
• Leads the development and analyzes data and information to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance and creating more cost-effective supply chains, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.
Education Requirement:
Degree or equivalent experience desired

Develops logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory.
Engages in carrier negotiations and consults on operational requirements.
Procurement
Selects suppliers, negotiates contracts, and monitors procurement policies.
Develops sourcing strategies and contingency plans for critical suppliers.
Coordinates procurement across diverse categories and services.
Supply Chain Management – MFG
Oversees supply chain finance and monitors end-to-end processes.
Advises on capacity planning and network design.
Evaluates risks and benefits of supply chain strategies with partners.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Experience working directly with external suppliers.
Exposure to supplier risk mitigation in dynamic, global procurement environments.
Familiarity with CAT Global procurement teams or similar large-scale supply chain operations.
Additional Information:
Relocation and Sponsorship: Not available for this role.
Travel Requirements: Approximately 25% travel, including occasional visits to AC Mossville and supplier sites.
Primary Location: This position is based in Peoria (AB).
Work Schedule: This is an on-site role, with a standard 5-day office workweek.
Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
