As a Senior Global Marketing Consultant at Caterpillar Inc., you will lead the charge in shaping and executing the global go-to-market (GTM) strategy related to our Technology-enabled Safety solutions, with a key focus on our Detect portfolio. In this dynamic role, you’ll ensure our cutting-edge Safety technology is seamlessly integrated at the machine Point of Sale, develop solutions for current customer population, driving innovation and value for our customers. Secondly, you will help customers to become proactive with their Safety on their site by leveraging VisionLink.
What You Will Do:
1. Develop, own and execute the global GTM strategy for our Technology-enabled Safety solutions, with a focus on integration at machine Point of Sale and current customer population:
Organize and execute global Go-to-Market plan on our Detect portfolio, including collision warning, motion inhibit and the new release of Collision Mitigation Systems. This includes awareness, transaction and installation/upgrade, drive integration into dealers’ quoting systems and sales funnel management processes. The role is expected to evolve and further expand to existing customer fleet retrofit.
Align, monitor and drive sales and adoption targets achievement by collaborating with our team and across the enterprise to ensure the success of our Safety Technologies.
Gather voice of customers and conduct market research to identify the customer needs, pain points, and opportunities.
Act as one of the key experts on our solutions, able to cover a good level of technical discussions with customers and dealers and technology product group partner.
2. Work with the VisionLink™ GTM Lead to help customer adopt VisionLink™ and be proactive on their safety on site:
Stay updated on the market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback, and adjust the GTM and distribution strategy accordingly.
What You Have (Core Skills):
Global Perspective: Proven experience working on international projects, with an understanding of diverse markets, cultural nuances, and global business operations to drive success in worldwide go-to-market strategies.
Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies that align with company objectives, with a focus on innovation, scalability, and customer engagement.
Vendor/Supplier Management: Strong experience in managing relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and partners, including the ability to negotiate contracts, oversee performance, and ensure alignment with strategic business goals.
Technical Skills: Ability to perform basic machine and software installation, including hands-on demonstration of our Safety solutions.
Industry Experience: Progressive experience in the manufacturing or construction technology industry, particularly in go-to-market strategies related to the construction/heavy equipment sector.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
4-year college or university degree in marketing, business or a related field
Experience driving global marketing initiatives with a focus on technology integration and sales enablement at the point of machine sales
A proven track record of customer-facing experience to help them address their challenges
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple business units and influence stakeholders at all levels
Additional Information:
Up to 40% domestic and international travel will be expected to maintain customer/dealer relationships

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
