The Senior Project Coordinator at Caterpillar Inc. plays a critical role in supporting supply-related activities within the facility, ensuring seamless integration between procurement and operational teams. This position focuses on driving excellence by identifying opportunities for cost savings, inventory reduction, and improvements in quality and velocity. This role requires strong collaboration with internal business partners to meet customer needs while maintaining strict adherence to compliance requirements. The Senior Project Coordinator will develop a deep understanding of regulatory and corporate standards, ensuring all activities align with Caterpillar’s commitment to operational integrity and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do:
- Support the development of project proposals, plans, and detailed execution.
- Track program progress against schedules and goals, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Prepare reports and updates for stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and corrective actions.
- Support facility procurement teams, as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing program outcomes and recommending enhancements.
- Operate and monitor the supply network procurement functions to meet the defined response time, cost, quality, and lean targets enabling optimal and efficient facility operations.
- Collaborate with business partners, IT teams, suppliers and resolve facility specific supplier issues.
What You Have (Basic Qualifications):
- Collaborating: Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and drive successful outcomes.
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear and impactful presentations to diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Proven capability to analyze complex challenges, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with Mach 1, an SAP system, and understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) as a core supply chain function for planning and knowledge of procurement processes.
- Project Management: Experience managing multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, including procurement-related activities and material planning.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
