Caterpillar’s Corporate Services is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner - Student and Graduates Team. This role is a functional recruiting program lead for the Global Finance Services Organization's Students and Graduates program across Caterpillar. In this role, you execute a long-term strategy to recruit top interns and entry-level talent from undergraduate and graduate campuses into Caterpillar. This person will also promote and develop Caterpillar’s recruitment brand across schools and various community events.
Role Details:
Execute hiring and program management for functional internship programs and early talent roles.
Perform trend analysis and utilize data for continuous program improvement.
Partner with campus recruiting teams that are responsible for supporting the execution of the functional campus strategy.
Contribute towards broader recruiting team projects.
Ability to communicate at a variety of levels across the organization.
Skills needed:
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Communicates to clients regarding expectations of all parties.
Participates in negotiating the terms of the business relationship.
Conducts periodic reviews of work effort, progress, issues, and successes.
Maintains productive, long-term relationships with clients or vendors.
Creates opportunities to educate support teams on client priorities.
Empowers others to establish collaborative, healthy relationships.
Customer/Market Focus: Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
Candidate Screening: Knowledge of techniques, methods and processes of candidate screening; ability to preselect suitable candidates for first and further interviews within the organization.
Initiates the business relationship between candidate screeners and other department managers.
Screens candidates for a variety of positions within the organization.
Monitors compliance with HR policies and standards during the candidate screening process.
Oversees the candidate information system in accordance with daily operational needs.
Coaches others on candidate screening techniques and methods.
Evaluates best practices of candidate screening within the industry to learn their rationale and practices.
Staffing and Recruiting: Knowledge of standards, processes, techniques and methods used in staffing and recruiting; ability to identify, select, retain and relocate qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions.
Resolves complex problems in the recruiting and staffing processes for various positions.
Facilitates the utilization of recruiting and retention best practices and benchmarking.
Evaluates the effectiveness of current recruiting system, techniques and methods.
Consults on all aspects (e.g. relocation or recruiting) of the staffing process.
Coaches others on staffing for multiple functions or departments in the organization.
Monitors the staffing marketplace and competitive environment.
Additional Information:
The location for this position is Peoria, IL or Irving, TX.
The selected candidate will be required to be onsite Monday to Friday.
Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.
Travel up to 75% especially during peak recruiting times.

Summary Pay Range:
$87,480.00 - $131,280.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
