Caterpillar’s Supplier Finance team within Corporate Treasury is a global, collaborative group that partners with Caterpillar’s Procurement organizations in support of supply resiliency. This position will lead a U.S. team of finance analysts and routinely engage with other business leaders across the organization.
This position regularly interacts with business leaders from other organizations and is responsible for communicating complex risk situations and mitigation strategies.
What You Will Do:
- Assess, monitor, and report business insights about Caterpillar’s suppliers’ financial health. Conduct financial deep dives, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Support the development of supplier risk mitigation strategies for financially challenged suppliers. Collaborate with global procurement teams to clearly communicate drivers of risk and assess impacts of mitigation strategies.
- Provide strategic direction to improve supplier utilization of Caterpillar’s Supply Chain Finance program and other financing programs. Maintains regular communication with corporate banks who support various financing programs. Coordinates across business organizations to ensure operational excellence of the Supply Chain Finance program.
- Utilize digital tools to provide business insights to internal business partners. Leverage voice of customer feedback and set a vision for how digital tools can improve internal customer experiences.
- Serve as a coach and mentor for our Finance Leadership Development Program participants
What You Will Have:

- Financial Markets: Knowledge of the products, types, competitors, customer base, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments.
- Financial Risk Management: Knowledge of tools, techniques, and strategies applied in financial risk management; ability to quantify, qualify, and manage financial risk.
- Treasury Management: Knowledge of the principles and methods of managing treasury; ability to use tools, techniques and processes to maximize the value of an organization's financial assets and revenue while minimizing risk.
What Will Set You Apart:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience working within a Corporate Treasury environment, with a focus on managing financial assets, risk mitigation, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of company policies, procedures, and governance frameworks, combined with advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to take initiative and operate autonomously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively address sensitive issues, mentor and develop team members, and influence stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment and action.
- Proven track record of demonstrating courage and emotional intelligence, including a high level of responsibility, initiative and stress tolerance
- The ability to prioritize workflow and accomplish tasks across the organization through collaboration and delegation

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
