The ideal candidate is a dynamic and collaborative individual who possesses a unique and well-rounded creative skill set with a proven track record for conceptual development, strategic thinking, and an eye for world-class design and execution. This individual must carry previous in-house or external agency experience, which guides their ability to create and confidently express compelling ideas that influence internal teams and cross-functional departments. If being a “doer,” “creator,” and “influencer” sounds like you, and you have an impressive portfolio that showcases your experience designing (or leading design) across various media types including print, social/digital, broadcast, out of home, and experiential, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Do:

  • Consistently demonstrate exceptional problem-solving, conceptual development, and graphic design skills.

  • Exercise independent decision-making and creative judgment without oversight in the development of creative concepts and project development.

  • Be self-motivated with a collaborative spirit and the ability to positively influence and communicate with colleagues, team members, and clients.

  • Lead, communicate, and effectively present concepts and ideas internally to teams as well as externally to clients during meetings and presentations.

  • Possess expertise in brand development, including a strong understanding of how to incorporate the brand throughout all aspects of the work.

  • Work and guide others under pressure, maintaining quality and attention to detail under tight deadlines.

  • Support the Creative Director / Associate Creative Directors, and a team of writers, art directors, graphic designers, web developers, photographers, and videographers with the development of concepts, strategies, and create cutting-edge, targeted communications.

  • Be effective in translating business partner needs into smart, measurable, creative strategies.

  • Contribute strategic ideas and innovative thinking that support business objectives.

  • Play an active role to help lead strategic brainstorming sessions.

  • Provide graphic design and mentorship to junior designers, copywriters, and other members of the creative team to influence a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high-quality work.

What You Will Have:

  • Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and the ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

  • Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.

  • Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and the ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; the ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques and the ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

  • Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and the ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g., vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers).

  • Promotion and Marketing Communications: Knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; the ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market.

Considerations For Top Candidates:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent working experience.

  • Hands-on senior-level design experience in an agency or in-house creative team.

  • Experience leading the design of projects from concept to completion.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  • Must be able to present a portfolio of work that displays a range of designs and creative executions that highlight conceptual thinking.
