Job Summary:

Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division has an opportunity as an Aftermarket Manager within the Datacenter Global Account Team. The Aftermarket Manager will lead a team comprised of sales, technical support, application experts, and product support field personnel to achieve goals to drive increased customer loyalty and address critical customer needs.

What you will do:

  • Deliver business plan and customer targets for the datacenter market.

  • Develop sales and marketing plan(s), manage programs to achieve business plan targets for Caterpillar products and services.

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through management of commercial issues and customer goals.

  • Leading the selling opportunities identification, customer satisfaction improvement and business relationship enhancement.

  • Deploy the dealer on-boarding strategy (per account) to enable a consistent global customer experience with products and services.

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the datacenter market’s, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

  • Educates others on the organization in terms of the industry - its market position, niche (if any), etc.

  • Compares and contrasts the latest developments and emerging issues in the industry.

  • Raises coworkers' awareness of datacenter standards, practices and guidelines.

  • Assesses how regulatory and reporting requirements apply to the organization.

  • Explains the development of industry segments - trends, consequences, key issues.

  • Discusses industry-specific cycles and associated considerations.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Top Candidates will also have:

  • Extensive aftermarket leadership experience

  • Understanding of Caterpillar’s distribution strategy and supporting product support processes

  • Strong understanding of the datacenter market and its unique operational requirements

Additional Information:

  • This position is located in Dallas, TX (Irving); Griffin, GA; Mossville, IL; or Lafayette, IN.

  • Domestic travel up to 25-50% & international travel is required.

  • Domestic relocation assistance may be offered for this position.

  • This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.

Summary Pay Range:

$156,000.00 - $234,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
