We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant supporting the Corporate Aftermarket Financial Services team. In this role you will provide support for the Accountable Parts Profit and Aftermarket Offering reporting with the opportunity to support both prime product and component teams in their Aftermarket Parts analysis. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your work and impact will be highly visible at all levels of the company.
What you will do:
- Be a trusted business partner in supporting the Corporate Aftermarket Finance Services team.
- Monthly financial reporting, analysis and presentation of Aftermarket Financial Performance.
- Support the Aftermarket Accountable Parts Profit (APP) annual business plan, early warnings, quarterly forecasts, and annual restatements.
- Proactively interacting with internal customers to develop, understand and manage customer requirements and expectations.
- Identifying opportunities for efficiency and improved reporting through analytics and optimization and providing creative solutions that challenge traditional methods and processes.
What you will have:
- Education: 4-year degree in accounting/finance OR any 4-year degree with a certification (CPA/CMA) AND 5-8 years of accounting/finance/business experience
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understand the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high level of precision.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
- Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Top Candidates will also have:
- Business Unit experience with financial analysis and forecasting, preferably aftermarket or component experience.
- Strong analytical, process improvement and problem-solving skills.
- Proven record of strong initiative, accountability, and effective communication skills working with a global team.
- Experience creating and managing Power BI dashboards and using tools such as BPC, OneStream, AllocateIt, Snowflake.

- This position requires 5 days a week in office

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
