We have an exciting role open within Caterpillar as an Accountant. This position supports the monthly reporting package for Wear Components and serves as the PSLD Wear & Maintenance Component capital coordinator. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will partner with Machine and Engine Divisions in support of the Enterprise Component Cascade methodology and assist in the completion of our monthly Form M.

What You Will Do:

• Create monthly results package & lead VP review for Wear Components – (Undercarriage, Ground Engaging Tools and Metal Faced Seals)
• Support Segment (SD&D) and PSLD monthly reporting requirements and commentary
• Serve as PSLD Wear & Maintenance Components’ Capital Coordinator – coordinating capital plans within those organizations and providing analysis on variances
• Variable & Period Cost analysis in support of Component Cascade and Corporate Form M submission
• Exhibit our finance culture by demonstrating desired behaviors, including but not limited to continuous improvement

What You Have:

• Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; capacity to determine root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions to resolve those problems.
• Effective Communication: Utilize effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. This role will have various customers that will look at data in different ways, so this person must be able to effectively communicate in multiple directions.
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

Summary Pay Range:

$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
