About E+ES
Caterpillar’s Electrification + Energy Solutions (E+ES) Division will focus on delivering advanced electrified powertrain, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries.

Job Summary
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you’ll ensure products built, processes used and incoming parts/materials from suppliers meet all quality standards and customer expectations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining product integrity and driving continuous improvement across E+ES manufacturing operations. Join us to be the first line of defense in delivering excellence.
What You Will Do:
Actively support concerns associated with incoming parts to mitigate impact to operations at Caterpillar and contract manufacturers, including containment, inspection, quality gates, deviation, and disposition, using internal and external resources.
Deploy, facilitate, and support Material Review Board (MRB) to ensure effective containment and disposition of nonconforming material.
Communicate supplier-related issues to the Procurement team and support investigation to drive root cause analysis & corrective action (RCCA).
Work with Engineering and Procurement teams to support supplier development and proactively identify needs for Incoming Quality Audits (IQA).
Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and achieve quality and reliability objectives of finished product.
Recommend modifications to existing supplier quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality.
Degree Requirement:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience desired

Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Familiarity with Caterpillar tools and systems used to manage quality issues & suppliers (EtQ, QRWB, AQE).
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or Caterpillar Quality Management System requirements and able to support application to E+ES operations
Able to support E+ES's flexible operations in a dynamic business environment while working with a large and diverse cross-functional team.

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
