Caterpillar’s Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) has an exciting position open as a Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis supporting the PSLD Components organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help manage the overall business financial performance for the Wear & Maintenance Components businesses. This position partners with the Wear & Maintenance Components Vice Presidents & Finance Directors as well as with Aftermarket and internal business partner leaders.
This role will lead all forecasting cycles, actual reporting, and corporate/segment requests for PSLD components. This role will also have the unique opportunity to lead the Components team on cascade methodology as well as GFSO strategy planning and execution. The best candidate will have the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, exhibit strong problem-solving skills, execute change management, effective communication, and a customer-oriented mindset.
What you will do:
- Business Partnership with Wear & Maintenance Components Vice Presidents & Finance Directors to provide insights & analysis that drive informed business decisions and profitable growth
- Business Partnership with APP & MBD leaders
- Manage all aspects of accountable analysis, insights, and reporting of financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis to support Corporate, Segment, Division, and Business Unit (CU) deliverables
- PSLD Components cascade methodology & execution
- Coordination with over 20 component facilities, 6 product groups, and multiple admin orgs
- Business Unit level support of BMS, ECS, PAC2 charges & recoveries
- Business Unit level support of normals / SCR
- Business Unit level capital coordination
- Support Caterpillar Global Finance Strategy through transformation of our processes and automation to help generate business insights
- Effectively lead, influence, and interact with a global and diverse team; focusing on talent development, succession planning, performance management, and target setting
- Ad hoc & other support
What skills you will have:

- Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline
- Demonstrated success and progression in previously held Accounting or Finance roles
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and executive presence with the ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadership
- Prior supervisory experience

Summary Pay Range:
$156,000.00 - $234,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
