The Digital Sales Support Consultant will serve as Construction Industries (CI) subject matter expert to dealers and sales teams on Go To Market strategies, best practices, and sales variance programs to drive digital sales growth and increase percent of customers active online. This role will work with dealers and sales teams to deploy digital marketing campaigns, leverage marketing automation, bring new digital solutions to market and promote the integrated solutions approach to grow sales digitally. This role will collaborate across the enterprise to communicate Voice of Dealer, Voice of Customer and identify gaps in our strategy to develop needed resources for success.

Primary Interfaces: This role is a key interface between CISD Regional Retail and Small Core Sales teams, Distribution Services Division and Cat Digital Product Partners.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will be working with key partners including Cat Digital and Distribution Services Division, as well as aligning with the Sales Execution and Sales Support teams in Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) to drive digital sales growth which is critical to achieving double digit Sales to Users (STU) by 2026. Key duties includes, but not limited to:
Lead cross functional workshops and governance with partners/dealers to help drive eCommerce sales and eCommerce activation growth plans
Execute Go To Market of new digital solutions driving dealer and customer adoption
Support dealer digital sales and marketing plan development
Gather Voice of Dealer and Voice of Customer to identify and drive needed enhancements to digital products
Support execution of digital marketing strategy to support aftermarket sales growth
Analyze granular insights by dealer, to provide recommendations for digital marketing improvement and increase in eCommerce growth opportunities
Coach and mentor peers in the creation and validation of new solutions to business problems
Present insights on gaps, root cause, and proposed actions to leaders and advisors
Lead pilot of new digital solutions within territory
Participate Go to Market development with Voice of Dealer as needed
What You Have (Core Skills)
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of dealers’ and customers’ application, industry and marketplace needs.
Customer Focus: Experience consulting and collecting of voice of customer for new product/services introduction or distribution needs.
Relationship Management: Experience and confidence working with senior staff and management on industry growth plans, regional merchandising programs or regional dealer programs.
Effective Communication: Skills across product, industry, dealer and/or customer audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of ideas and recommendations.
Top Candidates Will Also Have
Job-related experience in the areas of Digital Marketing, eCommerce or Digital Solutions.
Experience with aftermarket business (Caterpillar dealer network is a plus).
Experience providing training for internal and external sales teams, direction for future solutions and industry needs, and sharing this expertise at higher industry levels with business unit management.
Experience with Caterpillar eCommerce solutions, digital solutions or Dealer Digital Excellence program.
Experience creating behavioral changes in organizations.

Domestic relocation assistance is available
Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% in territory when needed
Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
