Job Summary:
The Digital Deployment Manager leads the deployment of Caterpillar’s world-class digital e-commerce solution, Order Navigation Experience (ONE), with our Dealer and enterprise partners. You will consult with appropriate partners and drive collaboration/deployment of digital capabilities regionally, focusing on delivering customer and business value. You will build strong understanding of the marketing and business objectives of multiple business units, industry groups, and Dealers, and drive engagement and future product development. This role serves a business critical function driving sales, marketing, and digital excellence.
What You Will Do:
The Digital Deployment Manager typically leads and/or deploys digital capabilities (or equivalent based on size, scope and complexity) with strategic and technical understanding of all capabilities for the region they support. This role may provide dedicated focus to high impact or complex capabilities, industries, regions and/or projects.
Other Duties:
- Consults/deploys with appropriate business unit, industry group and/or Dealer contacts to drive digital execution within the framework of enterprise tools, processes and strategies.
- Drives appropriate engagement within various levels of the dealership and internal industry groups, digital team members, capability owners, data owners and analytics to understand the full suite of capabilities, integration points and deployment status.
- Enables multiple digital projects and activities to identify linkages and synergies across business units, industries, and Dealers.
- Acts as both facilitator and liaison between dealers and appropriate internal subject experts and/or industry groups. Provides consultation to dealers implementing new Dealer Management Systems and engages with internal groups for the dealer integrations with corporate systems.
- Act as a single point of contact within Caterpillar to resolve dealer operations and technical issues. Drives awareness of and support dealer implementation of Caterpillar business transformations that require dealer participation to be successful.
- Manages proper collaboration, coordination, training, communication and alignment among related areas, projects and strategies within the team and with internal and/or Dealer partners.
- Drives and builds digital awareness through communication and identity programs in global regions and multiple business units, industry groups and/or Dealers.
- Confronts complex issues and problems that require careful analysis and diagnosis and bring the necessary experts together to execute solutions.
- Applies interactions and experiences with digital capabilities to develop expertise and demonstrate strong digital acumen when communicating with partners and stakeholders.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; but not required. Will accept 8-12 years of work-related experience, typically in sales & marketing, order-to-delivery, or digital technology.

• Describes resources and approaches for training on advanced product features and functions.
• Facilitates training for end-users, infrastructure staff, management and administrators.
• Designs and conducts high-level and detailed demos of all advanced product features and facilities.
• Discusses benefits and drawbacks of various delivery mechanisms.
• Conducts train-the-trainer sessions for customers and field support staff.
• Demonstrates experience with delivering product training to multiple clients and functional groups.
Software Release Management:
• Oversees all aspects of release management for the entire installed customer base.
• Develops and disseminates communications about new release training.
• Drafts communications about product release features.
• Develops distribution dates based on development, testing (QA), validation, packaging activities.
• Conducts impact analysis for major releases or critical applications; assesses benefits and risks.
Top Candidates Will Have:
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to partner, build relationships, drive accountability and achieve alignment across all levels of the organization from team members to executive management
• Strong skills working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, and the ability to influence and resolve differences and issues
• The ability to adapt quickly to high velocity and change
• Strong project and program management, including communication and change management planning/coaching
• Deep knowledge of current digital capabilities and thorough understanding of the integration points
• Experience working directly with CAT Dealers and/or industry field experience
• The ability to demonstrate digital capabilities and some product support experience
Additional Information
The locations for this position are Peoria, IL, Cary, NC, or Athens, GA.
Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.
This position may require 10-20% travel.

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
