Caterpillar's Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) is hiring a Senior Commercial & Data Consultant!

This role will work between CISD marketing and sales teams and data analytics teams to lead strategic development on Services Growth and Target Setting for the division. This role typically has strong dealer facing and commercial experience, moderate level expertise on data analytics, and some digital marketing acumen.

What You'll Do

• Maintain laser focus on driving services growth, build strong demonstrated AI capabilities and integrate distribution services capability

• Develop growth strategies related to opportunity analysis and driving OPACC

• Lead effort in developing ad hoc Business Insights to influence CISD Strategy

• Full end to end ownership of Target Setting including SVP / VPs alignment and global/regional/dealer level targets definition

• Leads medium to large projects, with moderate to high complexity related to services growth, AI and data development

What You Have (Core Skills)

• Customer Focus: Facilitates creation of the 'right' products and services to resolve customer business issues. (Analytics and Data visualization tools); Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvement.

• Creativity: Drives heavy engagement with AI projects and demonstrates cases for services growth and customer understanding.

• Effective Communications: Strong, granular analytics capability with an eye for details; Adapts documents and presentations for the intended audience.

• Relationship Management: Communicates to clients regarding expectations of all parties; Maintains productive, long-term, collaborative relationships

• Technical Excellence: Cursory Knowledge of data analytics, Prior experience with SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Power Bi

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors; Implement the group's go-to-market strategy and raise awareness of potential strategic alliances and partnerships.

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Deep understanding of CAT Aftermarket Portfolio

• Prior experience implementing go-to-market strategy for a division

• Strong commercial acumen

• Prior experience in a field role or dealer facing position

Additional Details

• Work locations: Chicago, IL; Peoria, IL; Cary, NC; Dallas, TX

• Caterpillar requires 5 days per week in office (M-F)

• Domestic relocation assistance is available to those not already located in one of the listed work locations

Summary Pay Range:

$144,960.00 - $217,320.00
