The Resource Industries Sales, Services and Technology (RISST) division is one of the most exciting, global and customer-focused organizations across Caterpillar. We are responsible for the go-to-market strategy for surface and underground mining; and we are focused on delivering growth and the ultimate customer experience through advanced technologies including automation and electrification, integrated site solutions and more!
As a Senior Strategy Consultant in the RISST division, you will serve as the Aftermarket Services Strategy Manager in Resource Industries (RI) where decisions and recommendations are made for strategic advantage and contribute to the Division’s business and long-term leadership position. You will collaborate closely with Enterprise partners and RISST regional teams on aftermarket growth strategies, foundational to delivering our customer experience standards and Caterpillar’s Services growth targets. You will be accountable for driving Aftermarket Services revenue and profitable growth for RI.

Lead the annual business planning and target-setting process for RI Aftermarket Services.
Establish and track key RI Aftermarket Services metrics and scorecard.
Lead and provide oversight of RI Aftermarket Services projects and strategy roadmap.
Collaborate and align the strategy to Services Growth Plans and OPACC Agenda.
Closely collaborate & support the RISST regional aftermarket teams on performance to the annual business plan.
Provide regular reports & updates to RISST leadership on RI Aftermarket Services performance to plan.
Manage the monthly RI regional insights process.
Align with Cat's Distribution Services Division (DSD) on opportunities for improvement related to dealer capability in order to deliver the RI customer experience vision.
Liaise with Cat Digital’s Insights team on RI Aftermarket Services needs and requests.
Coordinate and supervise the summer college intern.
Be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned based on business need.
What skills you will have:

Extensive experience in strategy, sales, or marketing.
Experience in mining, construction, or related field.
Ability to analyze and interpret data for decision making.
Ability to build the strategic thinking capability of the group.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Field experience working with Cat dealers and customers.
Familiarity with machines, components and systems.
Project management skills.
Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work full-time in the Tucson, AZ, or Peoria, IL office.
Domestic relocation is available.
This position may require 25 % travel.

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
