We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) in Morton, IL.

Job Summary:

• This Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) is a key position of the Morton Facility Maintenance team. Responsibilities for this position include being an expert user of the PM (Preventative Maintenance) maintenance tool, along with a variety of clerical tasks related to facility maintenance activities, and processing service requests of the Morton Maintenance department.

Additional Info:

• This role is located in Morton, IL and does not offer relocation
• This role is 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm
• This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules

What You Will Do:

• The candidate will have full maintenance monitoring system access, provide training and represent the maintenance department for activities related to PM and SAP.
• Management of daily work orders by responding to calls, monitoring screens, prioritizing requests, and maintaining metrics.
• General maintenance report creation and execution
• Creating Standard work and / or documentation of maintenance activities
• Train maintenance monitoring system users
• Have expertise in all systems and software used by the maintenance department
• Resource for projects related to PM use

What You Have (Required Skills):

• Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
• General Computer Competencies: Proficient in Excel. Adaptable to new computer programs and/or applications.
• Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in maintenance organization
• Experience in scheduling and planning work

Summary Pay Range:

$28.15 - $42.25
