Job Summary:
Assists in the implementation of organizational change initiatives, communications, and user experience improvements that enable the PLM organization to achieve greater performance.
What You Will Do:
• Conducting needs analysis and impact assessment to determine the most effective approach for implementing change.
• Providing consultation and recommendations to stakeholders within the organization (business units) to manage organizational change.
• Influencing and leading people to adoption of the PLM organization's change initiatives to attain business results.
• Craft and lead PLM programs in change management, communication creation, and user experience initiatives.

• Ability to determine who the audience is and why the message is important to them

• Lists the barriers to effective communication, such as ambiguity of words.

• Applies the concept of 'critical path' in order to complete work in a timely manner and keep larger tasks on track

• Focuses activities on developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Understanding the needs of different customer groups (different business units) with respect to PLM processes in order to effectively craft and deliver change management efforts.

• Practices active listening skills to let others (internal and external to the PLM division) know you understand their position.
• Practices empathy to fully understand the needs and roadblocks of our customers.

Data Gathering & Analysis:
• Describes alternative data-gathering techniques and tools.

• Identifies the purposes of data gathering and analysis.
• Identifies key objectives in gathering and analyzing data.
• Discusses the causes of conflict; describes typical scenarios that lead to conflict.
Influencing:
• Demonstrates the ability to influence customers in order that they might fully understand the reasons and benefits of process and tool changes.
• Describes key concepts of influencing.
• Documents and distributes suggestions and ideas, with supporting detail.
• Identifies local key players and decision makers.
Relationship Management:
• Provides examples of the characteristics of effective business relationships.
• Identifies key business relationships inside and outside of own organization.
• Describes the nature of a productive business relationship.
• Explains the benefits of building business partnerships.
Vendor/Supplier Management:
• Lists types of vendors, partners or suppliers used in the organization.
Additional Information
The location for this position is Peoria, IL
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
This position may require up to 10% travel.
