Job Description:
The Director of Strategy will be responsible for managing the strategies, staff and activities of a Strategy & Planning (S&P) consulting organization for Caterpillar's Earthmoving divison which is paert of the Constructions Industries segment. Additionally, this Director will develop new business clients and consulting services.
Caterpillar's Earthmoving division is respnsible for the worldwide design, manufacturing and support responsibility for medium tractor products, motor graders, medium wheel loaders, paving products, and SEM-branded product lines.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and monitors S&P organization's business plans, pricing strategies and revenue / profit objectives for a business segment. Plans, administers and manages organizational P&L.
• Defines and oversees the infrastructure / resources for S&P consulting teams for a business segment. Defines, monitors and uses service metrics to assess performance and continuously improve.
• Directs development and continual improvement of S&P consulting services for a business segment. Motivates, manages and develops consulting staff. Develops and leads the organization's culture and values.
• Manages overall S&P client relationships for a business segment. Prospects, markets and develops new / existing clients for a business segment. Monitors all projects' progress to ensure client satisfaction and oversees all RFPs for a business segment.
Degree Requirement:
Degree or equivalent experience desired.
