Job Summary

HR interns at Caterpillar will perform challenging work while being exposed to a variety of HR functions within CAT. We work with our teams to ensure that every intern gains the appropriate professional and personal growth necessary to be successful in the corporate environment. Our interns are placed in a variety of HR specialties and locations.

Session Availability

Summer 2025: May 19, 2025 to August 8, 2025

This is a 40-hour-per-week assignment, Monday through Friday, lasting 12 weeks in the summer.

Illinois (Peoria Area); Texas (Irving/Global HQ, Fort Worth, Houston, Seguin); North Little Rock, AR; Brooklyn Park, MN; Corinth, MS

Additional Info:

  • Must be enrolled full-time at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs: Human Resources or in Business with emphasis in Human Resources.
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Masters in Human Resources or in Business with an emphasis in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 2.8/4.0 Cumulative GPA (no rounding).
  • Expected graduation date of December 2025 and beyond.
  • 12 completed semester hours at a 4-year university before the start of internship or currently participating in a Caterpillar student program.
