Role Definition

Develops, implements and supports processes and practices for ensuring a plan for every part, assessment of appropriate and timely stock levels of materials, components in order to manufacture and deliver products, supporting one or more large facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Reports include Product Change Control Engineers, Analysts and New Product Introduction (NPI)/Continuous Product improvement (CPI) Supply Chain Planning Analysts.

  • Responsible for team performance to achieve corporate supply chain targets focused on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results.

  • Leads team coordinating implementation of engineering changes into production in a timely and efficient manner. This includes planning and liaising with the Engineering design and procurement teams to procure new parts and new revision levels of parts. It is also the responsibility of the Change Control Team to liaise with internal value streams including leading and coordinating with operations to plan part dispositions by exhausting, reworking, or scrapping in line with effectivity dates.

  • This position supports facility efforts in NPI/CPI and Engineering Change Control process conformance. This role requires cross-functional team leadership skills and communication. Incumbent is required to work and communicate effectively with diverse, multi-functional team in order to apply the supply chain planning process.

  • This position leads cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supply chain constraints, which requires leading teams to deploy solutions using root cause corrective action.

Degree Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent supply chain experience required

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible supply chain job experience desired

Skill Descriptors

Planning: Level Extensive Experience

Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

Analytical Thinking: Level Extensive Experience

Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Inventory Management - MFG: Level Extensive Experience

Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.

Supply Chain Management - MFG: Level Extensive Experience

Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.

  • The location for this position is East Peoria, IL (Building KK).

  • This role is a full time, hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office

  • Relocation assistance is available for this position.

  • This position may require less than 10% travel.
