As an Accounting Manager at Caterpillar, you will independently perform accounting functions which require preparation, analysis and communication of issues of normal to high complexity that support Caterpillar business processes. This role will manage a small team of accountants in the areas of capital investment, legal entity, and inventory reporting.

What you will do:

• Capital Investment Reporting & Analysis for highly complex projects
• Work closing with facility leadership team to support capital investments and other initiatives
• Supervision of legal entity journal entries and reporting
• Operational strategy development & execution

Top Candidate Will Have:

• Bachelor's level degree in Accounting
• CPA/CMA
• Experience with capital investments and related financial analysis (DCF, NPV)
• Strong analytical, process improvement, problem solving and human relations skills are also necessary.
• Must demonstrate high levels of initiative, leadership, good judgment, and superior communication skills.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar’s businesses, products, suppliers and customers and a broad understanding of accounting and business processes/systems.

• The location for this position is in Mapleton, IL
• This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office
