Caterpillar is looking for a skilled leader to take charge of our Motor Grader (MG) Product Activity Notices (PANs) and Pricelist updates. If you’re passionate about ensuring dealers and process partners have a seamless pricelist experience, and thrive on leading projects to support business needs, this role is for you! You’ll be at the forefront of executing and governing PANs, ensuring clarity and consistency throughout the process. Additionally, you’ll lead projects that drive innovation and support our New Product Introduction (NPI) and Strategy teams. Join us and make a meaningful impact on our business and industry.
What You Will Do:
- Drive the delivery of world-class pricelists for our dealers, ensuring they are regularly updated, user-friendly, and consistent across all models and product lines.
- Lead and collaborate with Global Construction Industries (GCI), engineering, pricing, and process partners to clearly define pricelist names, descriptions, and procedures, fostering seamless coordination and alignment.
- Manage the end-to-end PAN process, taking ownership of every stage to ensure efficient execution and timely updates.
- Spearhead small projects supporting the NPI and Strategy teams, contributing to innovation and strategic initiatives within the organization.
- Take direct accountability for leading updates and strategies related to Motor Grader (MG) pricelists, driving enhancements to deliver a consistent and positive experience for our dealers and process partners.
- Apply practical working knowledge and applications of 6 Sigma tools and methodologies to address issues and continuously improve processes, ensuring operational excellence.
- Coordinate with PAN/Pricelist leads across Earthmoving to exchange best practices and implement effective solutions fostering collaboration and shared learning.
- Adapt existing approaches or develop new solutions as needed to integrate projects with broader business activities, improvement initiatives, and corporate strategy.
- Establish priorities and develop work plans to efficiently complete assignments and achieve desired outcomes, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
- Actively monitor customer order take rates to identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations, leveraging effective communication to keep all relevant teams informed and engaged throughout project execution.
What You Have (Basic Qualifications):
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to prioritize customer needs and deliver exceptional service, ensuring pricelist meet dealer expectations and enhance their overall experience.
- Effective Communication: Proven track record of clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, dealers, and process partners.
- Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and alignment to achieve shared goals.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with the capability to understand market trends, anticipate future needs, and develop proactive strategies to drive business growth.
- Value Selling: Proficiency in articulating the value proposition of pricelist updates and PAN processes, persuasively advocating for their adoption and implementation.
- Data Gathering & Analysis: Experience in gathering and analyzing data to inform decision-making, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Top candidates will also have:
- Professional background in key disciplines such as engineering, business, finance and accounting, product development, marketing, and distribution, or purchasing, providing a solid foundation for understanding and contributing to pricelist management.
- Black Belt training or equivalent Six Sigma certification, demonstrating proficiency in process improvement methodologies and tools.
- Experience leading projects, supporting pricelist/PAN updates and strategic initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to navigate sensitive effectively engaging professionals at all levels.

- Domestic relocation is available to those who qualify.
- 5-10% travel is expected.
