What you will do:

  • Portfolio Leadership:
    • Provide direct global team and portfolio leadership to the global cost program for the MWL business.
    • Drive year-over-year improvements by defining, establishing, and meticulously monitoring project management goals within the program.
  • Worldwide Competitive Targets:
    • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional team members to develop and set ambitious world-wide, competitive-based product cost targets.

What You Have (Basic Qualifications):

  • Degree Requirement: bachelor’s degree in a technical or business curriculum is strongly preferred. A combination of education and demonstrate progressive experience is required.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, capable of guiding teams towards common goals and inspiring excellence in performance. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through challenges, leveraging diverse expertise to achieve impactful results.
  • Budgeting: Proven ability to effectively allocate resources and manage budgets to meet strategic cost reduction objectives. Demonstrated expertise across a spectrum of disciplines such as operations, engineering, project management, accounting, etc., providing a solid foundation for budgeting skills.
  • Influencing: Strong influencing skills, capable of driving change and garnering support from stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Thorough understanding of engineering and/or manufacturing processes, as well as sourcing and supply chain strategies, enabling effective influence in cost reduction initiatives.
  • Goal Setting: Skilled in setting clear achievable goals for cost reduction initiatives, with a keen understanding of how they align with overall business objectives. Understanding of supply chain strategies contributing to the development of realistic and impactful cost reduction goals.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Exceptional decision-making abilities and critical thinking skills, enabling sound judgement in complex cost reduction scenarios and dynamic business environments.

Top candidates will have:

  • Alignment: Ability to foster alignment and collaboration across diverse cross-functional teams, ensuring everyone is working towards common cost reduction goals.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Managing Multiple Projects: Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadline and deliver results. Ability to juggle various projects with competing priorities, maintaining focus, and driving progress across all initiatives.
