Description
Leads a team of project management professionals and oversees the operational functions and strategies of complex corporate programs.
Evaluating and providing guidance during the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; developing strategies to ensure all projects within the program are cohesive and in line with organizational goals.
• Overseeing the hiring, development, and management of all project teams within the program, including both internal staff and external contractors.
• Defining, establishing and monitoring the program's project management goals.
• Collaborating with business executives on using a disciplined project management approach and coaching them on their project-related roles and responsibilities.

own organization.
Budgeting: Knowledge of organization's budget process; ability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget.
Conflict Management: Knowledge of managing conflicts; ability to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Alignment: Knowledge of the importance of collaboration among team members and the ability to enroll stakeholders in communicating and coordinating activities to support the organization's vision and strategies.
Cross-Team Integration: Understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across
divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.
Goal Setting: Knowledge of the value of creating goals that stretch the teams' capabilities; ability to develop and track challenging goals that support business strategies.
Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Basic Qualifications
- 10 years of project, program, and portfolio management experience, preferably in a PMO environment.
- Minimum of 4 years formal leadership experience.
- Incumbent must have outstanding communication and teaming skills and the demonstrated ability to get results through people.
- Demonstrated business development and negotiation skills, emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity, and networking.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Advanced Degree
- Experience in change management and agile a plus.
- Professional Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, SAFe, or other related certifications.
Additional Information
The location for this position is Mossville, IL.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
This position may require less than 10% travel
