This position will lead the development of digital products across a multitude of technology platforms and will help empower Caterpillar customers to manage their business more efficiently. This individual will be responsible for leading the development of solutions that facilitate the connection between our office products and our machine connectivity solutions.
This position will work between stakeholders and development teams translating customer needs to build solutions that meet customer and dealer needs. This position must have strong experience delivering results within complex programs and global organizations.
Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Possess the ability to conceptualize and communicate ideas to stakeholders of all levels within an organization.
- Possess the ability to collaborate with the development teams to address industry needs.
- Ability to deliver on short-term needs that fit into a long-term vision.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science disciplines
- 5+ years of progressive experience operating within a product development team.
- 2+ years previous experience working with telematics information.
Top Candidates will also have:
- Requires ability to listen to customers and stakeholders to identify new products and features.
- Experience in the development of information-based solutions for the heavy equipment industry.
- Desirable is a result driven, self-starter with a unique combination of technical knowledge, business acumen and strong general and emotional intelligence.
The primary location for this position is Mossville, IL (Tech Center Building A)
Domestic relocation assistance is available.
This position may require up to 10% travel.
