Role Definition
Consults and leads projects for a wide range of technology related issues to internal and external customers, while adhering to standards and processes.
Responsibilities
• Consult on client requirements and propose technology solutions and business cases; guide in evaluating, selecting and utilizing new and existing tools and techniques.
• Provide subject matter expertise and solutions on comprehensive technology issues for internal and external customers.
• Lead the design, testing and technology implementation of technical projects, while collaborating with senior IT staff.
• Ensure that the design and implementation of technologies are compliance with existing standards and processes.
Degree Requirement
Position prefers a four year degree from an accredited college or university

Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

• Plays an active or leading role in recording and storing requirement documents in various forms.
• Ensures the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis stage.

Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.

• Emphasizes the business impact of failure and the criticality and timing of needed resolution so that problems can be avoided in the future.
• Creates trouble reports for all issues found and reviews solutions for completeness and correctness.
• Directs the resolution of communications problems in multi-vendor environments.
