Caterpillar’s Earthmoving Division is hiring a Program Management Lead to provide high-level support to the Earthmoving Leadership Team and work closely with the Senior Vice President (SVP) in a Chief of Staff capacity.
Role Summary: Facilitate efficient and smooth operations for the leadership team by managing a variety of business and administrative functions, while providing direct support to the SVP as needed.

They will need to understand the importance of confidentiality, accountability and consistency in managing information, people, programs, and initiatives. They possess superior organization and prioritization skills, are self-motivated in the completion of their work, and have the confidence to make decisions and take initiative.
Job Duties:
Develop, prepare and coordinate business operational activities for Earthmoving Leadership Team, specifically accountable for ensuring initiatives, actions and priorities on behalf of the SVP are delivered.
Act as key point of contact in organization and across business unit partners to support a wide range of meetings, executive requests and other collaborative efforts.
Help identify business opportunities and practices that improve leadership operations and practices.
Point of contact to implement governance practices and processes for Earthmoving Strategy.
Evaluate problems and review possible solutions to implement.
Set priorities and establish a work plan to complete projects and achieve desired results.
Communicate effectively across product, industry, and executive leader audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of ideas and recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
6+ years of progressively responsible job-related experience (i.e. project or program management, strategy development, governance and process management)
Project or program management experience
Relentless Execution - Strong change management and communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to partner and build relationships across matrix organization at various levels
Ability to adapt in a functional area and role that is high velocity and ever-evolving
Proficiency in Office 365 suite of tools
Top Candidates Will Also Have
Demonstrated leadership skills
Broad business background, exposure to multiple business functions
Understanding and comfort working with data and insights
An engineering or operations background
Understanding of company business units, products, financial processes
Experience with Microsoft and project management tools (such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Excel, etc.)
