Global Rental, Service & Marketing (GRSM) is a part of the Services, Distribution & Digital (SD&D) segment. GRSM is comprised of Global Rental & Used Equipment Services, Global Service and Global Marketing & Brand. A primary role of GRSM is to support and enhance Caterpillar’s dealer network, which is a competitive strength and the critical way in which we serve our customers.

As a Video Production Lead, you will lead the defining, creating, managing, and launching of videos to Channel 1. You will be an expert in Cat products so that you can collaborate with Technicians and Dealer experts in defining what videos will be produced on the machines coming to the Mechanical Lab. You will also be the creating force for advancing technologies that will make the videos more widely used by the Dealer Field Techs. You will be accountable for ensuring the work group completes the assignments on time and the information is technically accurate and complete.

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

This position is a leadership role that will lead the video production team. This entails the following:

• Develop and manage relationships with Dealers for video feedback

• Contact Product Groups for video input to machines coming to the Mech Lab

• Creative force behind shooting and development

• Publish all videos and manage spreadsheet

• Manage all data on each video

• Manage Watershed data for dashboards

• Manage 4 channels on Channel 1

• Developing new video applications like Toolbox Talks and Rigging 101

Basic Qualifications:

• Two-year degree in a technical subject or related field; or equivalent work experience

• 2+ years of experience with heavy equipment (knowledge of equipment or experience working on/with heavy equipment)

• 2+ years of video related work (can be freelance work)

• Must be willing to travel up to 10% of working time

Top Candidates will also have:

• Experience shooting and editing videos; preferably editing in Adobe Premiere

• Experience leading teams

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
