JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible to develop Telematics on-board monitoring software used in Electronic Controller Module for machine & engine applications. Will interact with Telematics System team and other software development teams to define software requirement and validation details. Will develop concept, design, test and promote new software features and processes; perform requirements analysis and decomposition; evaluate new languages, develop tools or processes; perform product maintenance; manage the software lifecycle through version control and configuration management and communicate technical information to Stakeholders. Will contribute to the planning and delivery of complex embedded software projects by providing upfront design approach guidance to all software feature work, code review for software developed and support software technology development strategy and roadmap. May work remotely within commuting distance of work location.

REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a Bachelors’ Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related and three (3) years of experience using Software

Applications: Canoe, Apache Thrift. Testing Tools: Canoe simulator, Google unit test.

The position also requires three (3) years of and experience in working with C++ programming, Embedded software development and in Operating Systems: Linux, Windows; Languages like JavaScript, HTML, UML, CAPL. Of the three years, at least two (2) years of experience should be gained in automotive, machine or industrial embedded network communication software development. Apply below.
