Job Summary

As Global Dealer Learning’s Dealer Workforce Development Manager within Global Service (ADSD), you will lead a global team of Dealer Workforce Development Consultants to support dealers on Services Growth through the execution of Dealer Technician Growth and Career Development Process Accreditation.

  • This position is located in Peoria, IL. or Dallas, TX.

  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of working time (both domestic and international travel)

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a global team of Dealer Workforce Development Consultants, managing resources and workload aligned with strategic priorities to execute the work that has the biggest business impact.

  • Successfully complete goals in the space of Talent & Culture (People & Safety), Services Growth, and Operational Excellence and deliver impactful results to the enterprise.

  • Collaborate effectively across the enterprise and with dealer partners to achieve Services Growth goals, serving as a business partner to achieve the Dealer Technician Growth definition of winning (DoW).

  • Support Service Excellence Program (SEP) and Marketing & Sales Excellence Program (MSEP), specifically around dealer capability & capacity on Career Development Processes through Technician Career Development Process Accreditation (TCDPA) and Sales Career Development Process Accreditation (SCDPA)

  • Execute the Dealer Technician Growth initiative and achieve Definitions of Winning such as % Dealer Technicians vs. Cap & Cap Plan, % Priority dealers with Train-to-Task programs and other Dealer Talent Acquisition, Technician Development and Retention programs.

What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Skills):

  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university in business, engineering or equivalent business experience

  • Prior experience in leadership, coaching, budget management, working across global teams

  • Good knowledge of the Caterpillar dealer organization, experience influencing dealer networks globally, managing large scale events and demonstrating Caterpillar’s Leadership Attributes

  • Written or oral communication skills beyond English

Summary Pay Range:

$144,960.00 - $217,320.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
