To coordinate the day-to-day workflow of the Admit Discharge Unit/Advance Care Unit to meet patient care needs and increase the throughput in the region. The RN Supervisor will function as a member of the assigned department leadership team.

• Effectively delivers discipline per Nursing Managers discretion.
• Serves as a resource to others in using patient outcomes or core measure indicators to organize their plan of care and care delivery methods.
• Monitors current patient care practices and is alert to areas of improvement.
• Assists Nursing Manager in meeting employee satisfaction goals.
• Participates in developing, implementing, and evaluating action plans.
• Develops a schedule that meets staffing needs.
• Identifies circumstances requiring redistribution of care team resources to better meet the needs of the patients during a given shift.
• Assists with staffing decisions, keeping costs and resource utilization in mind.
• Assists the Nursing Manager in the annual performance review process for the department.
• Mentors developing staff.
• Assists the Nursing Manager with payroll as assigned.
• Assists with communicating unit information and clarifies issues as needed.
• Assists the Nursing Manager in retention efforts for the department.
• Assists the Nursing Manager in recruitment efforts-including but not limited to attending employment fairs, assisting in selection process.

The compensation range for this position is $44.95per hour - $77.31per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
