Overview
consultants in order to monitor treatment progress and outcomes, and to ensure appropriate, timely, cost-effective, and seamless treatment delivery for patients receiving treatment for work related injuries.
This position will be responsible for Occupational Health Coordination with the West and Central regions, when applicable.
Responsibilities
Prospect and generate leads for new regional collaboration and is able to appropriately follow up to ensure successful delivery of services by communicating to necessary leadership, physicians and departments within the Carle organization as well as regional healthcare providers.
Identifies trends and coordinates system resolution to repetitive failures or dissatisfactions with services. Leads customer service improvement processes to exceed customer's expectations.
Produces and updates comprehensive regional assessment of assigned area.
Gathers intelligence in the region and communicate the information to appropriate departments/leadership.
Evaluate, maintain and expand the current employer book of business by continuously modifying sales and retention strategies and plans to optimize outcomes.
Collaborate with Regional Network Coordinators to identify common needs between the employer and regional provider community in the region and fostering relationships around enterprise wide initiatives.
Facilitates company tours and meetings with Carle departments in order create promote new and maintain existing relationships.
Negotiates with regional employers regarding services and facilitates contracts for services when appropriate.
Monitor and report monthly on progress toward identified goals.
Arranges/coordinates case conferences as necessary regarding occupational rehabilitation clients.
Contacts payers to obtain prior authorization for services; documents and conveys payment.
Develops and implements a comprehensive, effective system of communication with physicians, employers, insurance carriers,
rehab consultants, attorneys, and counseling of patients.
Educates staff regarding Worker's Compensation and return-to-work issues.
Evaluates cases and assists providers with treatment plans.
Monitors progress/outcomes (in treatment) to ensure appropriate, timely, cost-effective, seamless treatment delivery for
patients receiving treatment for work related injuries and those referred for rehabilitation.
Schedules functional capacity evaluations, functional abilities assessments, work conditioning baseline evaluations, and work
conditioning.
