The CMA/RMA ensures timely flow of patients, rooms patients and gathers all necessary medical information for the doctor to deliver quality patient care. Maintains department patient care supplies and clean exam rooms.

Perform a variety of routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
Maintains patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety.
Room patients for provider visits. Obtain vital signs for provider visits. Stocking supplies and cleaning rooms.

License/Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (ARMA) - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (AAH) - American Allied Health (AAH); Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT) - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (AMT) - American Medical Technologists (AMT); Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) - National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
